Objective

Objective of this circular is to explain the existing and proposed changes in business day cut over for NETC online transactions, disputes through EGCS, settlement files in EGCS and posting settlement through RTGS.

Background

All member banks & IHMCL discussed the problems arising with the existing business cutover, settlement, etc. in the Review Meeting held on 8th June 2017 and recommended to revise the existing Cutover timings.

Settlement Timings

Presently cutover for NETC online transactions and disputes are as follows:

Note:

  1. There is no change in file formats & contents for the DSR, raw data files, dispute reports etc.
  2. No changes in settlement process for RTGS holiday. NPCI will settle all approved & deemed approved transaction on T+I RTGS working day. In case of RTGS holiday, NPCI will post settlement on next RTGS working day
  3. RTGS posting and Reports generation will be at 9 am.
